Thanksgiving in Cairo, Egypt -- McCaskeys & Soukups

Wow! Dave & I traveled halfway around the world to celebrate Thanksgiving 2009 with Joel, Alison, Tessa, and Taylor. Actually, the first day, Joel said that he had said back in September, "I would like to go somewhere WARM like Egypt." They had several friends who had traveled in Egypt and loved it.

The pyramids/camel rides, the hotel/great food, downtown Cairo -- Egyptian museum, Citadel, markets, Coptic church, etc. -- the Suez Canal/1967 war memorial/THREE military escorts/wonderful seafood lunch, and especially great family memories with Alison, Joel, Tessa, and Taylor! The tours were awesome -- we covered a lot, but it was always at our speed.

What a great vacation to be thankful for!
